I hope you have had a great Sunday. HERE ARE THOSE ADORABLE PAPER BAG JUNK JOURNALS. These could be so addictive. Be sure and check out Gayle Agosteninelli's video. Her link is in the description box under the video. Her bag junk journals were my inspiration.
Hi everyone! I hope your Sunday has been a great one. We had severe storms along with flash flooding Saturday. The rain and storms did not let up the whole day and even went through the night. When I woke up this morning I thought I heard it hailing. Anyway, I spent the whole day yesterday in my craftroom. I made all these wonderful bag junk journals. WHAT FUN! I hope to get the video up next weekend. Can't wait to show the insides.
I have such a love for junk journals. I found most the images that I used on Pinterest along with some coffee stainedseam binding, which I have to say turned out GREAT.
Happy Sunday once again!
I hear thesound of lawn mowers all around the neighborhood as I set and write this post. We have hadso much rain this past week that thegrassis growing by leaps and bounds. I love Spring, but Ihave to admit that mowing is not one of my favoritethings to do.
Anyway, I have a recipe paper bag album I did for a friend and wanted to share it with you. I used Graphic 45's "Parisian Cafe" collection in the 8"x 8" pad size. I really liked how it turned out.
I found this crochet lace at Tuesday Morning.
The cake stamp came from Michaels $1.00 bin.
Mason jar tags can be used to write recipes on.
I stitched lace on the tags.
Seam binding is tied to each recipe tag.
I pulled some tags for a peek of what is tucked away that you can't see.
Happy Sunday!! What a gorgeous day here in the Ozarks!!
I wanted to share the album I finally finished up. I used Frank Garcia's new Love Clippings and his Wild + Free collections. The colors are simply beautiful and the collections work so well together. I dug out the cinch to do the binding, then tied some seam binding and twine on the coils. What a fun little mini!
I used some pretty pink doilies through out the album.
Scalloped envelopes are just too cute.
I also used these cute little 3x3 cards and envelopes.
Happy Sunday!! What a beautiful day it has turned out to be! I am sooooo looking forward to Spring. It's my favorite time of year simply because everything starts to come to life. The flowers, the trees, the bushes and even the grass. COME ON SPRING! I wanted to share the travelers notebook (a new product) I picked up at Michaels a few weeks back. Of course I used a 50% off coupon as these little books area tad expensive ($12.99). It came with an insert that held just a few pages that were really thick, so I took that insert out and added 4 not so thick inserts that I already had in my stash. The cover is absolutely gorgeous. Here are a couple of photos of the notebook.
I hopeeveryone hashad a GREAT Sunday!
I wanted to take a moment and give an update on my new Facebook group called Sophie's Notes. Here is the link to Sophie's Notes: https://www.facebook.com/groups/175794712923487/ I hope to see you there!
